It is a third generation man-made synthetic pyrethroid that is highly photo-stable, low odor, and provides rapid insect control.
It provides pest control through contact or ingestion and affects the pest's nervous system causing death and control. Cyfluthrin
works quickly with an average time to kill of 30 seconds with a long lasting residual of up to 90 days.Cyfluthrin contains active
cyfluthrin isomers. It provides efficacy similar to other pyrethroids but at half the amount of active ingredient.Like all pyrethroids
cyfluthrin is highly toxic to fish and insects, but has minimal toxicity to humans, mammals, and birds

Mode of action Non-systemic insecticide with contact and stomach action. Acts on the nervous system, with rapid knockdown and long residual activity. Uses An insecticide effective against many pests, especially Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, Homoptera and Hemiptera on cereals, cotton, fruit and vegetables; also against migratory locusts and grasshoppers. For agricultural uses, applied at 15-40 g/ha. Used against Blattellidae, Culicidae and Muscidae in public health situations, stored products, domestic use and animal health.
